Born in Zimbabwe, Trish has spent most of her working life in both travel and hospitality, spending a large portion of this time living and experiencing day-to-day life in the African Bush in some of the most amazing destinations in Southern Africa. It has been nothing short of an incredible journey and a time in her life that she still reminisces about with fond nostalgia.
Trish has travelled extensively across Botswana and Zimbabwe and has also explored South Africa. Some of her favourite travel experiences include meeting the San people and learning about their culture and traditions at Meno A Kwena; a leopard walking under her safari vehicle at Mombo; being part of the Children in Wilderness campaigns and working on various wildlife research and conservation projects including the Lion Research Project and assisting with darting of animals, removing snares, and anti-poaching initiatives.
