Liesl was born and raised in South Africa. She started her travel career at Cape Town’s top hotel, Ellerman House, where inspired by guests from all four corners of the world she developed seriously itchy feet. Whilst discovering Europe, a quirk of fate led her into the travel industry planning bespoke safaris. Many happy years have been spent exploring and indulging in her passion for Africa – the wildlife, the people, the scenery, the complexity, the challenges! Liesl has visited South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Kenya & Tanzania, Ethiopia, Rwanda & Sao Tome & Principe and hopefully, there will be many more…
