Kerry has always had a keen interest in nature and conservation and gained a degree in Life Sciences from the Open University. After spending some time in data- and IT-related roles, she sought a change in direction after starting a family and was delighted to join the Explorations Company in 2015 as an Administrator. She was drawn by the fascinating destinations and the relationship between responsible travel and conservation, community support and environmental action, something close to her heart.
Kerry’s personal travel highlights include drifting leisurely through the stunning Norwegian Fjords, visiting Bruges during their annual music festival, wine tasting in the Rhine and Moselle Valleys, exploring Rome’s history on foot, relaxing by the water of Lake Garda in Italy then driving through the breath taking Dolomites, and sampling sourdough in San Francisco.
