The team have all either been born or lived for a significant period of time in the destinations they specialise in. For example, Nicola, the founder of Explorations Company was brought up in Africa whilst Chinmay, our General Manager, was born and raised in India.

Latin America Travel Specialist
The job in three bullet points:
• Manage client enquiries (via telephone, video call, email and sometimes in person) to create the most extraordinary and commercially viable journeys across Latin America using your unique destination knowledge & product insight.
• Contribute with enthusiasm to the ongoing development of the business, working individually and collectively to achieve mutual success for our customers and partners.
• Enhance customer experience by expertly weaving philanthropic engagement into our bespoke holidays to make the journeys more meaningful and authentic.What will your typical day look like:
• Responding to client enquiries by phone and e-mail.
• Actively prospecting and qualifying clients to maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
• Brainstorming with colleagues and suppliers to create the most bespoke and innovative journeys and convincingly delivering your ideas to the clients.
• Maintaining and updating the CRM and CMS systems with all relevant sales, product and destination information and updates.
• Assisting the marketing and product teams with promotional content, writing new blogs and sourcing visual content from relevant industry partners.
• Meeting the KPI’s and ensuring that your own and the company’s performance goals are achieved, which will involve maximising booking margins and customer ratings.Have you got what it takes:
• Proven track record of working with HNW and UHNW individuals and achieving sales and service targets within a relationship-based approach.
• In-depth knowledge of multiple countries in Latin America.
• Exceptional people and sales skills.
• Strong storytelling skills – both written and verbal and a solid foundation in basic maths.
• Good knowledge of MS Office programmes and ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and processes.

Travel Coordinator (Maternity Cover)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Travel Coordinator to join our team. As a Travel Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the sales team in creating travel itineraries, booking accommodations, and coordinating transportation and other services and arrangements for our clients. Your role will be crucial in ensuring smooth and seamless travel experiences for our customers. The current position is available on a 12-month contract starting late-September 2024. There might be a possibility of extending the contract at the end of the term or of continuing on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
- Support the destination specialists in creating travel itineraries and organising travel arrangements including flights, accommodations, sightseeing, and transportation.
- Research and recommend travel options based on clients’ needs and preferences.
- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and other service providers to make reservations.
- Ensure all travel documents are in order.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any travel-related issues or concerns.
- Stay updated on travel regulations and restrictions to provide accurate information to clients.
- Maintaining and updating the CRM and CMS systems with all relevant sales, product and destination information and updates.
- Handle last-minute changes or cancellations effectively.
Skills:
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Good geographical knowledge of Asia. Knowledge of company’s other core destinations (Africa, Latin America, Polar Regions) will be beneficial but not essential.
- Knowledge of hospitality and travel industry practices.
