Anthea Graham
Anthea (Aggie) was born in Kenya and spent her school days in South Africa and Zimbabwe. She has travelled widely – working in the Alps, running a lodge on an island in the Rift Valley and having married a diplomat – worked with charities in Hong Kong and Shanghai. Besides her extensive travels across Africa and the Far East, she has also explored Latin America and Europe and loves taking her family on adventure holidays. In Latin America, she’s particularly keen on Costa Rica, Peru, and the Galapagos Islands.
Some of her favourite travel experiences so far have been cooking Christmas lunch in a dry sandy riverbed in northern Kenya, water skiing amongst hippos and crocs in a Rift Valley lake, hiking amongst the pristine sand dunes of Namibia, taking a refreshing dip in an icy stream after riding in China’s Heavenly Mountains, and the smell of quenched red earth after rain anywhere in Africa!
